Reviewing Echelon Black Label Sateen King sheet set - PlumI am a high end shopper. Overall, I'd say these are an honest set of sheets for the money.I washed them when they arrived and have been sleeping on them for a few days. The color is fairly accurate on my computer, sort of a dull plum - kind of nice, a little nicer in person than the picture. The weight of the fabric is on the lighter side, but its not terribly light. I prefer heavier, but this is fine and heavier costs much more. Luxurious and soft material, don't let the 300 thread count turn you away. The fitted sheet stays put on the corners. My mattress is 11 inches tall and the fitted sheet looks to have room for at least another 2 inches of mattress height. I washed hot and dried hot and the color stayed fast and the fitted sheet was plenty generous to easily get over the corners (so shrinkage was not a problem). I found the sheets a teeny tiny bit scratchy the first couple nights, although I think no one but me would notice this, and I'm pretty sure this will be gone with the second wash. I have no comment on wrinkling as I think it is irrelevant because high end sheets all wrinkle. Take them out of dryer promptly if that is a problem. They are under the covers anyway.I like to see corners double stitched, these were only single stitched. However, they had extra material covering the seam which will protect the seam over time from unraveling and the fit is generous enough that the corners are not being pulled which stresses the seams. The elastic also goes all the way around the fitted sheet and is nicely sewn.
